Mutual of Omaha Introduces Quick Electronic Application Process for Independent Brokers
Omaha, Neb. – (February 1, 2010) Mutual of Omaha now offers an electronic application process to allow brokers to submit cases electronically, securely and with less environmental impact.
The company has partnered with iPipeline™, a leader in on-demand software for the insurance industry, to provide the iGO e-App™ system, which will make submitting applications easier and accelerates underwriting and policy issuance through the use of electronic, intelligent fillable forms. Plus, by making the application process paperless, Mutual of Omaha is helping to reduce its environmental impact.
The iGO e-App electronic application process features:
- Intelligent wizard screens that include required and optional fields, which can ensure information validation and compliance with business rules
- Ability to electronically complete, view and print state-filed forms at any time
- Visual confirmations that the application is submitted correctly
- Ability to sign and submit applications using either an electronic or "wet" signature
“The new electronic system provides independent brokers with access to a single platform for a seamless and integrated process,” said Mutual of Omaha’s Mark Rush, vice president, Brokerage. “This is the right tool for brokers to submit applications online and streamline their business.”
