Omaha, Neb. – (September 25, 2007) Mutual of Omaha now offers two new investment solutions designed to accommodate the individual preferences of retirement plan participants. Through the addition of time-based funds and individually managed accounts, participants can now choose from a comprehensive menu of investment options to help them manage their retirement assets.
For employees who prefer a “hands-off” approach to investing, Mutual of Omaha has enlisted Morningstar Associates to offer a new individual managed account option through the Morningstar Retirement Manager suite of investment advisory services. This feature provides participants a personalized retirement strategy through professional account management, including customized portfolio selection and quarterly monitoring.
For participants who prefer a moderate level of assistance, Mutual of Omaha offers two solutions. In addition to Mutual Directions, Mutual of Omaha’s series of risk-based professional investment portfolios, the company has added the Mutual GlidePath portfolios, a series of nine time-based portfolios, based on projected retirement dates. Funds contained within the Mutual GlidePath and Mutual Directions portfolios are automatically rebalanced on an ongoing basis to ensure they continue to reflect their target allocations and overall objectives.
For participants who want to build their own portfolios, Mutual of Omaha now offers more than 50 investment options covering a wide range of asset classes and styles. This investment lineup includes a stable value option, bond funds, domestic stock funds and international stock funds.
