Marty Traynor Named to the Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame

Omaha, Neb. – (August 13, 2008) The Workplace Benefits Association recently announced that Marty Traynor, vice president of Voluntary Benefits at Mutual of Omaha, has been selected for induction into the Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame. Traynor received the honor on July 29, 2008, at the Workplace Benefits Mania 2008 conference in Las Vegas.

The Workplace Benefits Association selected Traynor for this honor in part for his varied contributions to the voluntary employee benefit business. “Every industry has a cluster of high achievers that help set the pace and show what the possibilities are,” said Walt Podurski, CEO, Workplace Benefits Association. “Marty Traynor is definitely one of those extraordinary individuals.”

As vice president of Voluntary Benefits, Traynor is responsible for managing the company’s Voluntary Benefits products and services. Traynor joined Mutual of Omaha in June 2007. Traynor has been in the insurance industry for more than 39 years, with the last 20 years focused on worksite and voluntary benefit product design, implementation and sales support.

Traynor has a monthly column in Benefits Selling magazine and is well known as a speaker on voluntary benefits at various insurance meetings and conferences.
