Helping Advisors Succeed, Mutual of Omaha Provides Specialized 401k Coach® Programs in Select Markets Across the Country
Omaha, Neb. – (October 7, 2010) In an effort to help retirement plan producers and advisors further build and refine their practice, Mutual of Omaha has aligned with The 401k Coach® Program to offer an exclusive, specially-designed training program in select markets across the country.
Charlie Epstein, founder of The 401k Coach® Program, has worked directly with Mutual of Omaha to create a tailored program unique to the market. This program begins with an intensive, full-day "boot camp" training experience. The boot camp is designed to give advisors the clarity, confidence and capabilities they need to enhance their service model and build their business regardless if they are a retirement plans rookie or veteran.
"With Mutual of Omaha's unique product offering, we are able to bring another layer of resources to our curriculum," said Charlie Epstein. "The 401k Coach Program and Mutual of Omaha's common goal of providing plan sponsors and participants with successful retirement outcomes will make this collaboration a huge accomplishment."
After the boot camp, attendees have access to a 12-month educational program that includes e-newsletters, webinars and resources and tools from The 401k Coach® Program such as The Retirement Plan Solution™, The 5500 and Beyond™ and The Wealth Care Manual™. They'll also have ongoing access to additional member-only online resources as well as support and consultation from Mutual of Omaha and The 401k Coach team.
"Offering The 401k Coach® Program is one way we can actively partner with retirement plans advisors and producers to help them strengthen relationships with their clients while building their respective businesses," said Chuck Lombardo, President and CEO of Retirement Marketing Solutions, a Mutual of Omaha subsidiary. "Plan sponsors want their advisors to be responsive while providing value. Our program will give advisors the tools they need to build a rock-solid value proposition to generate new business, and it shows advisors that Mutual of Omaha is committed to their success."
The first boot camp was held in Lansing, Mich., on Sept. 23, 2010. Five additional boot camps are scheduled for 2010 in Pittsburgh, Orlando, Minneapolis, Kansas City and Dallas. Additional locations will be scheduled in 2011.
Advisors will walk away from The 401k Coach® Program with: A clear understanding of their strengths and the challenges they face; a marketing system for generating referrals; a repeatable system for conducting exceptional first meetings and closing sales; increased confidence and technical expertise; and the ability to escape from the "Commoditization Trap."
