OMAHA, Neb., March 12, 2015 – Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom web series returns with all-new videos featuring Wild Guide Stephanie Arne presenting an up-close and personal look at some of the world’s most fascinating and beloved creatures.
The third installment of the Wild Kingdom web series is now online with an "aw" inspiring look at leopard cubs. It can be viewed at WildKingdom.com or on the Wild Kingdom YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/WildKingdomTV). New Wild Kingdom videos will be added biweekly through April.
The third installment of the Wild Kingdom web series builds on the success of previous seasons, offering short, focused videos with a wealth of supporting content, allowing a deep dive into each topic.
"I think the third season of our web series is the best yet, featuring some of the world’s cutest and most fascinating animals," Arne said. "From adorable leopard cubs to the unique kangaroo, we are highlighting some of the Wild Kingdom’s most interesting creatures in a way that allows the audience to view a lot or a little, with exclusive videos, photos, facts and behind-the-scenes content."
Social media also plays an important part, with unique content developed for Wild Kingdom’s Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest and other communities, Arne said.
Wild Kingdom’s third season kicks off with an amazing look at snow and clouded leopard cubs from Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Wichita, Kan. This facility has the largest breeding collection of clouded leopards in the world.
"Leopard cubs are adorable, but they are also extremely interesting and grow up to become amazing predators. I’m thrilled to be able to feature these wonderful creatures in our new Wild Kingdom web videos," Arne said.
Other topics Wild Kingdom will explore include:
- Sea otters – Enjoy the antics of the playful sea otters from the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, Calif., as they romp, tumble, wrestle and amaze.
- Kangaroos – Hop back to Tanganyika Wildlife Park to get up-close and personal with a mob of kangaroos.
- Manatees – Marvel at the graceful swimming demonstrated by manatees, despite their massive size. We learn more about these gentle giants at the Mote Marine Aquarium in Sarasota, Fla.
