Diversity Advisory Council
Mutual of Omaha's Diversity Advisory Council provides focus and direction for diversity initiatives, business results and to enhance the overall diversity of the work environment. The council consists of representatives from all of Mutual of Omaha's strategic business units and operations.
The Diversity Advisory Council's roles and responsibilities are:
- To act as an advisory team providing input and ideas for diversity direction and initiatives
- To be a liaison to the strategic business units and operations on diversity-related information and initiatives
- To serve as champions for diversity, within Mutual of Omaha and the community, and with business clients
The Diversity Advisory Council's objectives are:
- To support corporate diversity initiatives and best practices
- To establish areas of focus that will help the company achieve business results
- To provide input on implementation of approved initiatives
