Mutual of Omaha has a commitment to improve the quality of life in the communities in which we have a strong presence. We understand that livable neighborhoods are essential for a strong and successful community. That's why we established the Mutual of Omaha Neighborhood Grant Program.
Eligible applicants are neighborhood organizations that are listed in the City of Omaha's Neighborhood Group Directory.
Project must fit within at least one of the following categories:
The maximum for grant requests is $5,000.
How to Apply
Grant applicants are expected to complete the Mutual of Omaha Neighborhood Grant Program's online application, which includes specific questions related to the proposed project and its significance as well as the financing and management of the Neighborhood Association. Attachments that are required with the application include a board or committee listing and a detailed budget.
The Mutual of Omaha Neighborhood Grant Committee considers grant applications annually. The grant calendar is as follows:
Additional contact, correspondence or site visits with Mutual of Omaha staff and committee members when necessary will be conducted following the preliminary review of proposals.
