Mutual of Omaha Jaycees
The Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) is an international organization committed to making the community a better place while offering development opportunities and a social network for professionals between the ages of 21 and 40. The Mutual of Omaha Jaycees Subgroup functions as a division within the Omaha Chapter of the Jaycees. Although the subgroup does projects jointly with the chapter, it also does some projects of its own.
Some of those projects include:
- charitable fundraisers
- the Salvation Army's Hometown Holidays project
- lunch bunches
- providing assistance to needy families through Project: S.U.N.
- displaying a sculpture in the Food Bank's Cans Festival
- parks cleanup
- visits to the Museo Latino
- the Honey Bear Project to help the Ollie Webb Foundation
The Mutual of Omaha subgroup also offers opportunities for career and individual development through various seminars and projects.
