Mutual of Omaha Award for Excellence in Diversity and Outreach
Mutual of Omaha and the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA) have created the Mutual of Omaha Award for Excellence in Diversity Education and Outreach, to be awarded annually to an Omaha public or private elementary school. The goal is to make a positive impact on diversity efforts within elementary schools in Omaha.
The award is for $1,000 and is to be used toward existing diversity education and/or outreach programs.
Winning Selection Process
Each year, interested elementary schools should submit applications to the IMA by the last business day in September. The application should express the school's diversity education and outreach efforts.
Applications are reviewed by the IMA's education committee, which provides recommendations to Mutual of Omaha for final selection.
